Just a few days back I had the opportunity to listen to a learned person on Terrorism & Bharatiya foreign policies. It was indeed very saddening that we failed in our Governance, through out.
Where we went wrong need not be investigated, because we failed in every aspect.
*Every-time We look at US and CHINA to act against pakistan. But they openly declared that pakistan is their international ally, we fail.
*We supported china in their occupying Tibet, hoping that they will stop claiming Sikkim-Arunachal & remaining portion of Bharat, we fail.
*We stopped support to Lanka against LTTE, as our government was afraid of losing Tamil votes in Tamil-Nadu, china hopped in, helped Lanka & now Lanka is a sub-station of china, we fail.
*In our ongoing war with jehadi terrorism, we are too soft, fearing muslim vote bank, we removed TADA & POTA, nothing helped, we fail.
*In naxalite issue, we still don't have any National policy or Intelligence. Naxals are looting whole of Eastern Bharat, we fail.
*In J&K we sometimes act tough, sometimes too soft. Locals of J&K "Kashmiri Pandits" are either killed / escaped or converted. Thus the local state politics and votes are in control of infiltrated pakistanis and terror outlets. So, state government is in fact supportive of destructive elements, we again fail.
Name a policy our sick-ular government took & it succeeded. Name a central government's leader that we without hesitating can say is a "Nationalist".
Its not that we are not left with any solution, but we are not left with strong persons who support or follow these solutions.
Think over.. We import hazardous toys, dangerous electric items, etc from china. We export quality food grains, Fruits, textile etc that support their life-style. What they give us harms us in every way, yet they earn in billions from us. We fail.
Think over.. In the known history of 3000 years or so, our present system is 63 years old. In this system we are a part of this system, whether we accept it or deny it. If this system is a failure, we are also a failure along with it. But if we are a part of it, can't we still do something to improve it ? What we alone can do ? Is it what you think ! When Shri Ram was building a bridge to Lanka. All powerful people Hanuman ji, Sugreev etc were bringing stones as big as a tree, but still there was a squirrel who was bringing tiny pebbles, yet her participation was valuable & appreciated. It is "our-self" that we are answerable to, that we need to be true to.
Being a Nationalist or a Patriot is not ones' choice, it is our Dharm, our responsibility. We remember to argue for what we can get from our Mother-land, from Society, but we never ask our-self that what we did for our Nation till now, what is our contribution in its progress !!
Thought to ponder: 15th august should be celebrated as our independence day or should we mourn the division / partition of our Mother-land.
Better: We should take the pledge for "AKHAND BHARAT" let's work for re-uniting Bharat. Our broken arms : Afghanistan, Burma, pakistan, bangladesh, Lanka, Nepal, china occupied Bharat. All this & not let a single inch of our land to be ever divided or looted or gifted again.

* nehru ji said in Sansad after loosing to china & replying for chinese occupying thousands of kilometre of our land "let's not cry for that portion of barren land, it was not a cultivated land, let them keep it."
& yet we celebrate our Children's Day on his birth day... We fail

we are just a very very weak nation. Our leaders are not wok calling leaders and it does not matter if they are from BJP or Congress. Tell me one inspirational leader in Indian politics.
Until and unless we all have that same patriotism that we had just a year or so after independence, we cannot ever reach our potential. I know that India has made so many gains our GDP has grown ten folds etc etc, but the fact remains that we are sill behind many comparable nations. Yes we all speak English and thanks to the British that they gave us an education system, and railways and yes they also took a lot aways from us, but we canont forget that when they came India was congregation of 46 different small states and they brought all off them under british rule.
Anyway, thats a discussions for some other time..
well said. We can no genealise things based on party. We can not affix a trait to any character. Still there are good politicians in India, like A.K Antony from congress, Narendra modi from BJP, Manik sarkar from CPM, Gurudas dasgupta from CPI and on. But I feel some spirit is lacking in the people itself. To get revolunotionize and get what they want. I feel some movement should occur as our freedom movement to get the spirit, and show to the world that we till have spirit. True, we are failing in every aspect, some how I feel our politicians are stealthy about religion and that is waht making all this.Some one like Chegurave or Fidel castro should become PM for India to dare against china and Pakistan.Amen !!!!!!!
